Carnival of Mayakoba
Located in the luxurious residential complex of the same name, the Mayakoba Carnival will celebrate its third edition the Friday before Ash Wednesday.
Boats disguised with the most authentic of the region make their way through the canals like a procession in front of the Rosewood, Banyan Tree, Andaz and Fairmont Mayakoba hotels, in a parade full of music and colors.
The Carnival is the ideal place for a relaxed afternoon with family and friends, seasoned with local attractions, cultural activities and gastronomic delights.
As a resident of Mayakoba Residences, you can enjoy all the benefits as a pampered client.
Carnival of Playa del Carmen
Under the slogan of “Passion for Playa del Carmen,” the Carnival is just that: a celebration of the spirit of the Riviera Maya. With more than 50 years of tradition, it is one of the most anticipated carnivals in the continent.
Because of its excellent location, people from the surroundings come by thousands to have a great time. Located 10 minutes away from Mayakoba Residences, this celebration promotes harmonious coexistence among the communities of the region.
Tourists and locals will enjoy music, costumes, and floats, in this party that will take place from February 6 to 13.
Carnival of Cozumel
The beautiful island located in the Mexican Caribbean is famous for hosting one of the longest carnivals in the world. From January 13 to February 13, the Cozumel Carnival is a month of pure celebration, music, and dances.
Like the other festivities in the region, the main event is the parade of allegorical cars in which the participants show all their creativity to surprise the spectators.
Without forgetting, of course, the typical dances: the Baile de las Cintas, the Baile de Comparsas and the ‘Guaranducha Cozumeleña.’ All of this, located less than an hour by ferry to Mayakoba Residences.
In this Carnival season, enjoy everything the Riviera Maya has to offer!
